Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Pzartech uses cookies and similar technologies. We obtain your informed, prior consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, and pixel tags. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
Your consent
When you first visit a Pzartech site, we ask for your consent before placing any non-essential cookies. You can: Accept all, Reject all (only essential cookies), or Customize per-category.
You can change your choices anytime via the "Cookie Preferences" link in our footer.
Categories of cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary (always active — no consent required)
Required for the site and Pzartech-billed products to function (security, basic navigation, session).
2. Functional (require consent)
Remember your preferences — language, theme.
3. Analytics (require consent — opt-in only)
Help us understand how visitors use Pzartech sites. Where analytics is enabled, we prefer privacy-friendly first-party analytics (Plausible-class) without cross-site tracking. Currently the public Pzartech site does NOT use third-party analytics cookies. If we add them, this page is updated and consent is requested anew.
4. Marketing (require consent — opt-in only)
Currently Pzartech does NOT use marketing cookies on the public site. If we add them, this page is updated and consent is requested anew.
5. Third-party embedded content (require consent)
Pzartech embeds checkout flows from Paddle (our Merchant of Record). When you initiate a checkout, Paddle may set cookies in its own domain to process the transaction. See Paddle's privacy policy.
Consent management
Your choice is recorded with: timestamp, the cookie banner version shown, the categories you allowed. This record is kept for 6 years per EU best practice.
To withdraw consent: click "Cookie Preferences" in our footer and change your choices.
Cross-border consent
Pzartech defaults to the EU/DACH standard for everyone: opt-in for non-essential cookies. This is more protective and simpler to administer than per-jurisdiction logic.
Browser-level controls
You can also manage cookies via your browser settings (Chrome / Firefox / Safari / Edge). We respect the browser-level "Do Not Track" signal where required by law.
Changes to this policy
Material changes are notified via the cookie banner (re-asking for consent for new categories). Prior versions retained for 7 years.
